Partial Zonal Isolation

Oildata’s uses Thermosetting Plastic Resin to partially isolate unwanted production from existing perforations. The Resin provides an effective barrier in gas wells.

Thermosetting Plastic Resin
The Thermosetting Plastic Resin Plug is a low viscosity, high density liquid designed to shut-off unwanted water production. It contains no solids, enabling it migrate easily into gravel packs, cement channels and perforations. Its mobility time (liquid state), low initial viscosity and high density allow displacement of wellbore fluids. Once cured, it provides an effective barrier to flow. Curing rate can be adjusted to minimize shut-in time. Well can be returned to production within 24hrs over a wide range of temperatures. It can be deployed via wireline dump bailers or coiled tubing.
