Swing Jet II

Swing Jet II

The Swing Jet II system is the latest in thru-tubing perforating technology designed to deliver the performance of a large diameter casing gun, without having to pull the tubing from the well.

The pivot-mounted charges are designed to allow running in 2-3/8" or larger tubing and later deployed in the casing. After deploying the high performance 22 gram (1-11/16" x 4-1/2") or 32 gram (2-1/8" x 5-1/8") HMX charge, the system is fired.

The performance of the Swing Jet II gun is more than twice the penetration of other high performance through-tubing systems, and four times the penetration of standard through-tubing hollow steel carriers.

Oildata has been shooting the Golden Swing Jet since 1994, and has shot more Swing Jets in Nigeria than all the other service companies put together. The Swing Jet can be adapted for either an Electric-Line Unit or a Coil Tubing Unit.
