Pipe Recovering Services
Oildata began operation as an independent Cased Hole Service Company in Nigeria, in 1994, and introduced pipe recovering services.
- Downward Impact Tool (DIT):
- This tool is designed to shoot a projectile or spear to unclog debris, burst up small bridge plugs, cut holes in tubing-stops or break ceramic disks in horizontal well completions.
- J-Series Tubing Cutter (JTC):
- This tubing cutter out performs cutters from all the major manufacturers in all categories. It also provides cleaner tubing cut with less flare.
- Split-shot Tubing Cutter (STC):
- Split-Shot tubing cutters fire a vertical linear charge that splits the collar releasing the pipe for easy removal, without a 'belling' effect. Cuts tubing at the collar cleanly without distorting the tube.
- Radial Cutting Torch (RCT):
- This cutting device is used to sever tubing, casing and drill pipe. The torch utilizes a new technology which consists of a proprietary mixture of a various powdered metals, a torch body, and a nozzle.
