Memory Dual Neutron Tool (MDNT)

Memory Dual-Neutron Tool

The Memory Dual Neutron Tool (MDNT) is designed to investigate formation gas contacts in cased wells. The tool is deployed through tubing on Slickline. The MDNT employs an AmBe neutron source and two thermal neutron detectors in an arrangement commonly known as a Compensated Neutron Tool.

The MDNT provides cost effective and high quality data, every bit as good as data acquired using other techniques. Depth Correlation is achieved with the Gamma Ray tool run in combination.
